The people are very friendly and the food here is down home cooking at it's finest. Come here with an appetite! The portions are huge and everything is delicious! Especially the beer battered haddock and the hot lettuce with bacon dressing. Yummy!

Their food is good, the service is great and their prices are not too bad. Everything I expect from a restaurant around here.

Valentine's dinner and drinks were spot on steak's were excellent,crab stuffed mushrooms were delicious,mixed drinks were two thumbs up,servers were very attentive 😎

The quantity of the dishes is abundant, the quality is way above average, and the dessert are excellent. The menu gives a large selection to choose from. Staff is well trained , friendly and the restaurant is kept clean.

Get a sundae. A small has three scoops and weighs as much as a small cat. +1 Value

I got takeout. The waitress wasn't very friendly. I asked her to make sure they double bag it to keep it hot as I had a 35 minute drive back home. She said she would. They didn't. All the way home I smelled something burnt. When I unpacked the food at home my potatoes were black on top. We got the Shepherd's Pie on special. $8.50 got us a small portion of entree and one side. It was more like a lunch special size than a dinner size.The food was not very good. It wasn't worth the drive and we won't go back again. All in all it was a pretty crappy experience.

the food is always top-notch you get plenty of food in your portions everyone is very friendly and they have an awesome bakery where you can get some real good treats to take home with you

Had a wonderful time in the Red Lions banquet facility at the grooms rehersal event we scheduled there.. The food served family style was all home made and top notch! Denise our server did a terrific job...so attentive and courteous. She was the best!I would recommend the Red Lion Cafe highly if you're looking to have a small banquet there. Give Cheryl or her son Zach a call ....You will not be disappointed!

We visited for our first time yesterday. July 9 2019. We had a great experience. The food was very good and we were impressed by the huge variety of craft beers. I had the crab cake and it was delicious. I also had a butterscotch martini and I loved it. Our bartender/server was wonderful and made our experience even better. I would have given them a 5 based on the food and service but...My boyfriend had a beer with his meal that I tried and enjoyed so when we split our 6 pack to take home, that's the one I chose. He poured my drink and I told him it didn't taste at all like it did at the bar. Then we noticed the date on the bottom of the can! November 2018! I am so disappointed. Considering the price of the takeout, I am angry to have paid for extremely old beer. Watch your dates if you are going to get takeout.

Food is excellent and nice size portions. They had a band for new year's Eve and we were able to dance. Servers were friendly and courteous.

Love this restaurant. We travel 30 minutes to go here. Well worth it. Last night i had the Lobster Bisque soup. It was the best lobster bisque I’ve ever had. Even better than the fancy and expensive Devon seafood in Hershey! Highly recommend.

Have gone here for years, always enjoy the food. French onion soup is one of the best anywhere - not salty like many places. Turkey clubs are great and always have leftovers for the next day. Nice place to meet with a larger group too and they never rush use out the door when we linger. Great family place with a big menu so everyone can find something they like. Yummy desserts too.

Lasting legacy still with original wait staff and they're starting to slow down. Went out for a good classic American dining experience with my family and waited forever. Our senior waitress took 30 minutes to take our drink orders. Once this awakening of liquids happened we waited 40 more minutes for our food. Finally, our food came it was easy to tell they rely on there gravy and cheese to make there food good. The fries were dry. Burger dry. Ribs the absolute exact opposite of dry drenched in sauce. Once the food was finished mediocre at best we waited forty minutes to the get the check. The check finally came and the time to leave was finally upon us.

Red Lion is a family owned business that serves home cooked meals. Was there for breakfast and had eggs in a best. Lovely meal of eggs on hashbrowns with homemade toast. Lots of sides available, if you want. The waitress was very patient with my great niece, who just couldn't make up her mind. Feels like home

Service was poor, food was average, but the dessert was truly terrible. Staff brought the manager but all she was argue how we were wrong and that is just how it is. Would not recommend to anyone and will never be back

It's a very nice family restaurant. The food isn't as good as it use to be when Ramie & his wife ran it. Still not bad. My oldest daughter & I enjoy going there when she comes home.

Almost never a bad meal or dining experience. Nice sized portions at an excellent price. Friendly wait staff. Food prepared with love and pride. Family style restaurant atmosphere. A favorite when we are in the area.

Enjoy the subs very much all fresh and very tasty. Baked goods are excellent. I always expect the best when i order at Red Lion Cafe and they sure do deliver.

Love the fresh cut fries ! Don't ever change them . A great place for good food friendly staff .. eat here often and never disappointed.. did I say I love fresh cut fries ? 😉. Also many delicious deserts pies and cakes and love the Italian subs and other sandwiches. Love the Morgan burger ..

Food is always good but I real love their homemade cream puffs

Just plain great! Amazing food, great and caring people. If you want a nice sit down and eat restaurant, then this is it! And don't forget about their desserts! I like their cream puffs the size of my fist for $3. In short, perfect small town restaurant.

Used to be a great place to eat. Cost me $28.25 for a supreme pizza because they charge you separate for every topping! $4.00 for ham, $3.75 for hamburger, $2.00 for onion! Two large pizzas cost $45.23 and one had only pepperoni on it. I’m done with that place even if it is close and convenient. Highway robberyYou can try to justify your prices anyway you want. You know no matter which way you spin it $28.25 for one pizza is outrageous. Not to mention that I had to put it in the oven when I got home because it was not done! Not the first time I got pizza there that wasn’t baked through.

Had beer battered fish sandwich, was amazing! Waitress was very nice and attentive.

Good food and friendly people. Simple down to earth local restaurant. I LOVE their cheese steak with the sauce. I don't usually like cheese steaks with the red sauce but Red Lion does it the best. Also try the deep fried pork chop, its the best way to have a pork chop. Down home, country cooking, very PA Dutch type food. Good Birch Beer on tap. Not sure if they make it or if its a local brand but I highly recommend you order a mug. They also do to go orders for subs and stuff, and have baked goods up at the front counter but I always eat in for a full meal.

This is a good restaurant with great food and friendly service. Everyone within a reasonable distance should try this place at least once. The only thing I would say is that they could lower their prices a little, but this was great overall!

Bread was not fresh. Sweet potatoes were too sugared and over cooked. Turkey breast was very good.

Food and service was great. Alyssa our waitress was fantastic.Didn't come here in years, then about 3 wks ago we did and it was great. Since then 2 times and it was terrible. Tonight called ahead to see if fresh cut fries were available and were told they were. We ordered and got the frozen fries. Sent them back and of course then by that time my chicken tenders were cold. They deducted from my bill for the chicken tenders/fries; however, the waitress made the comment "we are only talking about fries". Well if we ordered and told her what we wanted and they were not available she should have come back to us and told us so we could substitute. I believe the waitress was Lynn and we had her the last 2 terrible times.

Simple well made comfort foods.. alot of choices on the menu. If you can't find something you like you're way to picky. Reasonable prices.

The food here is really good. I've been coming to this place for over 30 years now. It has the best cheese steaks.
